Bio

I have been in the film and video production industry for over nine years, specializing in color grading, editing, and DIT. I have worked on feature films and documentaries as well as commercials and music videos, in addition to extensive experience producing online content for global household-name clients.

After graduating from The University of Cape Town in South Africa, I worked as a production assistant on international commercials, gaining camera work and video editing experience at the same time. In 2015, I relocated to Tokyo to combine my love of Japanese culture and my passion for making films.

I worked at a post-production studio in Tokyo for three years, color grading, editing, data wrangling, and supporting the camera team as part of the DIT team. I had the chance to work for many well-known domestic and international clients, including Netflix and Hulu. In 2018, due to increased demand for freelance work, I was fortunate enough to start working as a self-employed independent editor and colorist.

For color grading, I can take your project edited in any NLE and conform your timeline within DaVinci Resolve. I have experience working with Arri, Red, Sony, Panasonic, Canon, and Blackmagic digital cameras as well as film.

Above all, I pride myself on my ability to find a story and my use of color to bring out maximum emotion.

南アフリカ共和国のケープタウン大学を卒業後、国際CMの制作アシスタントとしてキャリアをスタートさせ、カメラワークやビデオ編集を学び、経験を積んできました。新たなものを求めていた私は、以前から抱いていた、日本文化への愛を映画製作の夢と組み合わせられないかと考え、思い切って2015年に東京に移住しました。

東京ではポストプロダクションスタジオで3年間働き、カラーグレーディング、編集、データラングリング、DITの経験を積み、NetflixやHuluなど国内外の多くの有名なクライアントと仕事する機会に恵まれました。2018年、フリーランスの需要が増えたこともあり、フリーランスの編集者・カラーリストとして活動を開始しました。

ARRI、RED、Sony、Panasonic、Canon、Blackmagic のデジタル一カメラでの仕事経験があり、フィルムの経験も有しています。

物語を見つけ出し、色を使って感情を引き出すのに長けていることを自負しています。
